Head and Neck Surgical Oncology
Head and neck surgical oncology is the subspecialty of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat) that deals with the medical and surgical treatment of tumors of the head and neck region. Doctors in this subspecialty treat both benign and malignant tumors with surgery along or with Medical Oncologists using chemotherapy and/or Radiation Oncologists using radiation therapy. Because the head and neck area is close to the skull, heart and lungs, Head and Neck Surgical Oncologists can at times work with Neurosurgeons or Thoracic Surgeons, depending on the tumor.

Otology and Neurotology - Pediatric and Adult 
Otology and Neurotology is the subspecialty of doctors that diagnose and medically or surgically treat disorders of hearing, balance, and the facial nerve. They are also trained to provide surgical treatment of tumors that affect the bone surrounding the ear (the temporal bone). Specific disorders treated by these doctors include acoustic tumors, skull base tumors, facial nerve paralysis, Meniere's and other causes of dizziness, otosclerosis, and chronic ear infections. These doctors also specialize in the placement of cochlear implants.
