Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia

Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT)  is a genetic disorder resulting in malformations of blood vessels that can involve any organ system.  The majority of patients with HHT have such blood vessel involvement of the lining of the nose, such that epistaxis is a common problem.  As the Otolaryngologist member of the HHT Clinic, I am involved in developing treatment strategies for patients with HHT-related epistaxis.
