Vascular Birthmarks
Vascular birthmarks occur as frequently as 1 in 10 Caucasian infants. Their most common location is in the head and neck. Hemangiomas are the most common vascular birthmark and usually require no treatment. Other common birthmarks include capillary malformations (angel kiss, stork bite, port-wine stain), venous malformations, and lymphatic malformations.
